I have been teaching 4th grade since 2012 at King Elementary in the Des Moines Public School district. My passion is math and finding new and meaningful ways to integrate technology into my classroom to best meet my students needs!

Outside of school, I am currently working on my Masters of Education and Urban Leadership at Drake University while working on a STEM endorsement. I live in Urbandale with my boyfriend and our 3 dogs. In the spare time I can find I enjoy olympic weight lifting and crossfit, taking my dogs to the dog park, and finding a good book or podcast to get lost in.
